Croatia with Azamara

Croatia is a beautiful country located in the heart of Europe. It is known for its stunning coastline, rich history, and vibrant cities. Recently, I had the opportunity to explore Croatia on the Azamara Onward, a luxurious cruise ship that took me on an unforgettable 7-night journey along the Adriatic Sea.

Azamara is a brand that is known for its exceptional service, immersive experiences, and attention to detail. From the moment I stepped onboard the Azamara Onward, I was impressed by the warm welcome from the crew and the elegant décor of the ship. The staff members are always willing to go above and beyond to make sure that their guests have an unforgettable experience. Azamara offers a wide variety of experiences on and off the ship, including unique shore excursions that allow guests to explore the ports of call in-depth.

The Azamara Onward is a smaller-sized ship, with a capacity of 690 guests. This makes for a more intimate and personalized experience, where guests can get to know the crew and their fellow travelers. The sailing felt similar to a river cruise in this way. The ship has a beautiful atrium, a variety of dining options, and several lounges and bars where guests can relax and socialize. My personal favorite was the Chef's Table experience, a 6-course tasting menu with wine pairings. The meal was easily one of the best I've ever had anywhere.

As a traveler, I love to explore new destinations and immerse myself in different cultures. Croatia did not disappoint in that regard, and the Azamara Onward made the experience even more exceptional. One of my favorite moments from the trip was visiting Split, where I got to explore the waterfalls of Kryk National Park. No matter which direction I looked, the view was simply breathtaking.

Another highlight of my journey was visiting Dubrovnik. As a Game of Thrones Fan, I had to take the tour, and it did not disappoint. The old city walls and the view from the top were stunning, and I got to learn not only about the film sites, but the history of the city as I walked the ancient walls with a local guide. The sunset from the ship with Dubrovnik in the backdrop will always be a personal memory I cherish.

Overall, my experience on the Azamara Onward exceeded my expectations. From the stunning ports of call to the exceptional service and immersive experiences, I couldn't have asked for more.
